This is the chair I was waiting for! I'm a big guy and this one seems far more resistent than any other brands/
best gaming chair on the market, insane comfort and durability
The chair is ok. The problem is that it took over a week for them to send the chair after the money was drawn from my account. At first they responded to email, but they didn't know what was wrong. Then they didn't respond at all. Thougt I've been ripped off. All of a sudden the chair showed up.
Huge improvement to my previous office chair - finally a somewhat affordable chair for ADHD seating needs. I gotta sit cross-legged sometimes, generally I need to sit in various different positions and the flat/wide cushion makes that far more comfortable than my previous chair. Everything is super adjustable and comfortable, no complaints here. Took a bit to assemble, but then again, I am a bit slow with instructions sometimes haha.
Just got it, but so far it's great very comfortable and no issues
This chair is fantastic, extremely comfortable l, and got it on sale so that's even better!!
So I just received my chair and please understand this is not a long term review at this time.
First impressions have been very good. Item was well packaged and impressed with the care everything was wrapped. The separate clamshell for the wrenches and other bolts needed was a nice surprise over the typical cardboard. I like the minimal use of foam so it didn't make a mess while unpacking.
Assembly: I had zero issues with assembling this product. Everything lined up without issue, no issues with the threads on any bolts and truly required minimal assembly to put together. Side note: The all metal star base is SWEET and the wheels glide over my carpet like it was on a hardwood floor...very nice.
Being someone who sits working 8-12hrs a day we will see how this does comfort wise. The foam is very solid which can be a blessing and a curse at the same time...
Wants/Wishes....I really REALLY wish the seat had a forward tilt to it. The foam at the front of the seat does ride a little high and it would be nice if you could tilt it down a bit...maybe AKRacing reading this can offer me a solution other than adding washers to the back holes to add a slight forward tilt....or maybe the foam will break-in after a week or so...
Wow. Great price and awesome gaming sessions.
This is my second of this exact chair. I have had one since 2019 at work and decided to pick another up for the home office. I am 6'3 395lbs and this chair is for the big man. I am not squished on the sides for the armrest. The rock back springs do not leave me feeling like I am sailing to the floor when I rock back. Fully reclined the chair is really stable. I am in this chair 8+ hours a day with no fatigue and aches from the chair.
Assembly instructions were a bit difficult to follow. Online instructions on AKRacing website were slightly better. Found a youtube video to fill in the blanks. Overall the chair fits me well. Still deciding thoughts on the lumbar pillow and headrest. I feel the lumbar pillow will remain on the chair long-term. Requires adjusting each time I sit down. The headrest sits at my shoulder height... which is a bit annoying. It can be pushed up to suit me, but if I lean forward at all it snaps back down to my shoulders. I like the rocking mechanism and lock as well as that the back can be locked to slightly leaning forward, to an obscene lean backwards. I cannot say I'll ever lean that far back other than as a test, but it's kind of cool that it can. Rolls better than my last office chair. Odds are I'll end up sleeping in this chair on accident one day.
The only problem with putting it together was one of the side screws did not go in all the way the nut inside was crooked. The back pillow does not stay in position, I had to tighten the elastic to keep it where I wanted it.
This is so far the best chair i have ever bought, though its pricey but it is totally worth it. I would definitely recommend this one.
I love AKRacing chairs but I have to say I'm a bit disappointed at this model Masters series Max. I have the Nitro, Obsidian, and Masters series Premium, but the Max chair looks like it wasn't finished correctly. The border of the chair is very wavy on one edge which looks bad at first sight and the base is starting to get wrinkled. I've never seen these wrinkles in any of my other chairs and I've used some of them for a few years. I've only had this Max chair for almost 2 weeks now, which makes me very upset. I might need to start looking at other chairs since it appears other brands have been stepping up their quality. Prior to this chair, I could have recommended AKRacing to anyone, but I don't think that's the case anymore.
I'm 365lb & it's super comfy & sturdy
Easy assembly. Most comfortable gaming chair I've ever owned!
This is an extermely comfortable chair. My prior office chair was causing me cramping and pain in my shoulders due to unconsciously leaning on the armrest. The proper support and the ability to have the armrests at different heights has cured my pain that lasted for 6 months before figuring out the cause. I am a heavy guy at 300+ and sit for 8-10 hours at a time daily. The quality is worth the price point.
It was my Throne for two days, then They found it. Seriously, the combination of this chair with footrest took away my stressneck and lower back strain in 2 days of over 10hours per day. I finally sit fully upright and ergonomically correct for my body. I love my throne.
I Received the wrong order and now I have to wait for the correct one to come. Left messages and still have not heard anything yet
The chair is amazing, usually setting down for hours gaming gets uncomfortable but with this chair it is great. Extremely comfortable and definitely high quality.
I’m a big guy 6’5” and a little over 300lbs. Other chairs would bend cause I usually sit at this weight. This chair works well with big and tall people.
I was going to wait until the end of the weekend for your customer service to contact me, but since you are asking....... I bought a new chair, and not only is s it NOT NEW, it came with someones rolled up baby socks in it... Seriously, if you are going to try and pawn something off as new, at least TRY to go through the box and take out things that don't belong..... All these pics are what I found when I opened the box.... pet fur and other material on the base of the piston, dirt and handling marks, internal boxes that are supposed to be protecting things were torn. Seriously?!?!? You send me someone's reject chair?? and you don't even check to see if there is something actually wrong with it by taking it out and putting it together? because if you did you would have seen the rolled up socks.
Had this chair before I moved 5000 miles. Couldn't take it with me so I sold it to a friend. Re-bought it and lucky for me it was on sale.
Comfortable for my 270lbs. Love the wheels. They roll so nicely.
Instructions for putting on the pillows are complete trash. 1/10 on those.
Amazingly comfortable gaming chair for larger guys or gals.
Very easy to assemble, even though the instructions were on a different language that I couldn’t understand. Super comfortable and adjustable.
This is the second chair I purchased from AKRacing. I love that there are so many adjustments that you can make with this chair. The only problems I have with this chair is that when I lean back, I have stress on my knees and I guess that's due to my height. To fix this problem, I purchased their footrest, problem solved! The other problem I have is that the seat is harder than normal seats, but I do tend to spend a lot of time in this chair. Even with these two things, I still highly recommend this product, it is a very well made chair and you will be very pleased with this chair and will not be disappointed.
It's better than I expected. I just wish the seat was cushioned a bit more.
I got it a few days ago and after a short struggle building it (didn’t see the more detailed instructions qr code on the pamplet) I’ve loved it. Super comfy and great on my knees. Almost fallen asleep jn it a couple times now.
I was very skeptical spending 500 plus on a chair, but after 3 days I feel I am sold I am in my chair all day since working from home. I am a big guy, and I needed the support of a nicer well made chair so far this is exactly what I needed.
I've had the chair for just a couple days but so far, so good. It was easy to assemble once I saw the video. One note here: the video differed slightly than the printed instructions in the order of the first few steps.
Right of the bat, I can fit comfortably in chair without feeling squished. This is huge. The details on the chair are amazing, from the stitching, the silky glide of the casters to the beautiful synthetic leather. Full marks there.
The chair is sturdy and fairly comfortable. I have to get up and stretch every so often, however. Now this can be because I haven't found my ideal set up for the chair or the fact I'm terribly out of shape. Probably both!
Loving the chair , very tall back it’s so comfortable
